About the Flight Attendant Program
The Flight Attendant Program at Canadian Aviation College is 54 weeks and is designed to prepare our students to become a flight attendant using an international concept.
Today's flight attendants are highly trained, highly skilled, and focus on safety as the core of their job function.
The Flight Attendant diploma program encourages you to develop career-related skills, knowledge and behaviors to effectively perform a variety of functions required to provide passenger safety and exceptional passenger service as you work in the airline and travel industry.
Admission Requirements

IELTS 6.0+ or equivalent for international students whose first language is not English.

Flight attendant for all air operators such as airlines, air taxis, charter flights, private flight operations.
Learning Objectives/Outcomes:
Upon completion of this program the successful student will have developed various career-related skills, knowledge and behaviors to effectively perform a variety of functions required in providing passenger safety and services specific to the aviation industry.
Each student will have demonstrated the knowledge and skills in: world geography and cultures, basic knowledge of aviation theory, the roles and responsibilities of aviation related personnel, safety and emergency procedures, different aircraft types, various types of drills, aviation first aid, in-flight services and self-defense.

Total Program Duration: 54 weeks total.
Methods of Evaluation:
Students’ progress in the program is measured by their successful completion of the courses listed in the program outlines. A minimum of 70% on all course tests, as well as each assessment component of the courses, is required to successfully complete the program.
