Ready to take the next step towards becoming an airline First Officer? The CPP program equips you with everything you need, including a CPL, Multi-engine, Multi-engine Instrument ratings, and over 800 flight hours. One of the most cost-effective ways to build these hours is by working as a Flight Instructor, so the program also includes an Instructor Rating.
Our CPP program covers all the necessary licenses and ratings. Once you accumulate 1,500 flight hours and pass the written exams, you'll achieve your full ATPL.

Admission Requirements

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent diploma

IELTS 6.0 or ICAO level 4 English (international students who are not from an English speaking country)

Pass Transport Canada Category 1 medical exam
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the successful student will have demonstrated:

The ability to safely and effectively plan and execute Day, or Night, VFR or IFR , Multi-engine flights.

Employment / Career
Graduates will have all the licences and ratings required to begin a career as a professional pilot in many commercial operations, including airlines.
Course Duration
The flight hours required to complete the Career Pilot Program at Canadian Aviation College is 235hrs, over a duration of 18 months.
Delivery Method
Classroom, computer-based, ground and flight instruction.
Method of Evaluation
Flight tests in conjunction with in-house and Transport Canada written exams. Students are graded on a 4 pt grading scale for all flights and a minimum of 70% grade is expected for all quizzes and tests.
